Terms and conditions
1. A current and valid vaccination certificate must be produced before any animal can be accepted into our care.
2. All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit, this deposit is non refundable
3. We do not insist on, but do recommend the “Kennel Cough” vaccine. Our pet insurance WILL ONLY cover veterinary bills (up to the sum of £150) incurred during the treatment of Kennel Cough if your dog has had the Kennel Cough vaccine.
4.The kennels will take all reasonable care for their care and well being, but animals are boarded at the owner’s own risk. The Kennels have the owners authority to summon such Veterinary assistance as, at their discretion, they consider appropriate and fees are covered (up to the sum of £150 excluding pre existing conditions) by Pet Plan Insurance. This excludes any condition that either, existed prior to boarding, or resulted from a pre-existing condition. This also excludes any veterinary bills for Kennel Cough if your dog has not had its yearly Kennel Cough Vaccine.
5. In particular, the Kennels accept no liability for damage, illness, injury or death sustained during transit between home, Kennels, Veterinary surgery or any other place, or any illness that may be contracted during boarding; including death.
6. The Kennels reserve the right to dispose of any animal not collected within 15 days of the stated departure date. They will try to contact the owner or their agent, but it is the owner’s responsibility to contact the Kennels in the event of any delay.
7. The daily boarding charge is fully chargeable for any pet collected after 12.00pm . This fee is not refundable if you collect your pet earlier than the date stated on the booking form. All fees must be settled on the day of arrival.
8. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR ALL BANK HOLIDAYS . PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS
9. Freer Farm Godstone (known as “the Kennels”, above) accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to bedding, toys, leads, medication or any other item left with pets, however caused.
10. Please note that due to escalating veterinary call out fee’s , the kennels will use the local vets if we decide that a call out is necessary for your pet. If you specifically wish your vets to be called out, please inform us in writing that you are happy to personally pay for your vets call out fees.
11. MEDICATION If your pet is on medication, it is the owners responsibility to inform “the Kennels prior to boarding and to supply all medication and clear written instructions on the quantities, frequency and method of administering the medication to your pet. All administration of medication and treatment of your pet is done at the owners risk. “The Kennels” reserve the right to contact your vet and be guided by your veterinarians advice concerning any pre-existing condition.
12. If owners of pets specifically do not wish “the Kennels” to use a particular veterinary practice or individual. The owners must inform “the Kennels” in writing prior to any stay, and there by accept any problems incurred by that request. HOWEVER in the case of emergency “the Kennels reserve the right to getting the quickest veterinary treatment available.
